TNEA - B.Arch. 2025 Overview

TNEA conducts a separate online counselling process for admissions to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) program in Tamil Nadu. Admission is based on a combined merit score derived from the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

Other State Category: Applicants from states outside Tamil Nadu can apply for B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. programs. Eligibility requires completion of the 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For B.Arch. applicants, a valid NATA score is mandatory.

NRI Category: Non-Resident Indian candidates must have completed their qualifying examination abroad or in India and should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For B.Arch., a valid NATA score is required. Proof of NRI status, such as passport and visa documents, must be provided.

Foreign Nationals (FN): Foreign national applicants should have completed their equivalent 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. A valid NATA score is necessary for B.Arch. admissions. Additional documents, including passport, visa, and proof of academic qualifications, are required.

CIWGC Category: Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For B.Arch., a valid NATA score is essential. Proof of employment of the parent in a Gulf country and other relevant documents must be submitted.

All applicants must ensure that they meet the specific eligibility criteria and submit the necessary documents as per the category they are applying under. Detailed information and application procedures can be found on the official CFA Anna University website: https://cfa.annauniv.edu/cfa/.
