TNEA conducts a separate online counselling process for admissions to the Bachelor
of
Architecture (B.Arch.) program in Tamil Nadu. Admission is based on a combined merit score derived from
the
candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and the National Aptitude Test in Architecture
(NATA).
Other State Category:
Applicants from states outside Tamil Nadu can apply for B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. programs. Eligibility
requires
completion of the 10+2 or equivalent examination with subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and
Chemistry. For B.Arch. applicants, a valid NATA score is mandatory.
NRI Category:
Non-Resident Indian candidates must have completed their qualifying examination abroad or in India and
should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For B.Arch., a valid NATA score is required.
Proof
of NRI status, such as passport and visa documents, must be provided.
Foreign Nationals (FN):
Foreign national applicants should have completed their equivalent 10+2 examination with Mathematics,
Physics, and Chemistry. A valid NATA score is necessary for B.Arch. admissions. Additional documents,
including passport, visa, and proof of academic qualifications, are required.
CIWGC Category:
Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination
with
Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. For B.Arch., a valid NATA score is essential. Proof of employment
of
the parent in a Gulf country and other relevant documents must be submitted.

Eligibility
Academic Qualification:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and
Mathematics
as compulsory subjects.
A minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required in the above subjects.
Alternatively, candidates who have completed a 10+3 Diploma recognized by the Central or State
Governments with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are also eligible.
TNEA- B.ARCH Cutoff calculation
NATA Score:
All applicants must have a valid score in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
conducted by
the Council of Architecture.
Category-Specific Requirements:
Other State (OS) Candidates:
Must be Indian citizens but not natives of Tamil Nadu.
Should meet the same academic and NATA score requirements as mentioned above.
Non-Resident Indian (NRI) / Foreign Nationals (FN) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf
Countries (CIWGC):
Must have completed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and marks.
Should possess valid documents proving NRI/FN/CIWGC status.
Upon registration, an application number will be generated, which should be noted for future
reference.
