LAW 2025 Overview

Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU), established in 1997, serves as the premier institution for legal education in Tamil Nadu. For the academic year 2025-2026, TNDALU offers a range of undergraduate law programs through its School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) and affiliated law colleges. Admissions are conducted through an online counselling process based on a merit list derived from the qualifying examination scores. There is no age limit for applicants, adhering to Supreme Court guidelines.

TNDALU offers the following undergraduate law programs:

1. 5-Year Integrated Honours Law Degree Programs (Offered by the School of Excellence in Law, Chennai)

Eligibility

Application Process

1. Online Registration:
   • Visit the official website: https://tndalu.ac.in/
   • Navigate to the admissions section and select the desired course.

5. Submission:
   • Review the filled-in application form and submit it online.
6. Acknowledgment:
   • After successful submission, download and save the acknowledgment for future reference.

Application Fees

1. General Category: ₹500
2. SC/ST Category: ₹250

Admission Procedure

1. Merit List Preparation:
   • Based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Examination (excluding language subjects).
2. Publication of Rank List:
   • A rank list will be published on the official website, listing candidates in order of merit.
3. Counselling:
   • Candidates will be called for online counselling based on their rank.
   • During counselling, candidates can select their preferred course and college based on availability.
4. Seat Allotment:
   • Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's rank, preference, and seat availability.
5. Admission Confirmation:
   • Candidates must confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fees and submitting the required documents.
6. Commencement of Classes:
   • Classes are expected to commence in the first week of August 2025.
