Admission for B.V.Sc. & A.H. All India Quota (15%) - TANUVAS 2025-26
The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is a statutory body under the Department of
Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, established through the Indian Veterinary Council Act,
1984. It regulates veterinary education and practice across India.
For the academic year 2025-26, VCI will fill 15% of total B.V.Sc. & A.H. seats in all recognized
veterinary colleges, including TANUVAS (Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University), through
NEET (UG) 2025 scores.

Admission will be strictly based on NEET-UG 2025 ranking and fulfillment of other
criteria. |
Foreign Qualification |
Must provide equivalency certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). |
Grade/CGPA System |
Candidates must convert grades to marks with a certified formula and submit proof. |
Physical Disability |
Candidates with the following conditions are not eligible:
- Body/chest/spine disability > 50%
- Upper/lower limb disability > 50%
- Blindness/deafness
- Myopathies or other progressive diseases
- Conditions that affect veterinary duties

Online Counselling (General and Others)
- Held based on:
- Merit
- Tamil Nadu Government reservation norms
- Campus/course preference (entered only once)
- Candidates must:
- Register online for counselling
- Download admission letter
- Report at assigned venue for document verification and fee payment
- On completion, they receive admission slip and join allotted college
Sliding Procedure:
- For seat upgradation/campus change based on rank and vacancy
- Additional rounds conducted for vacant seats
Important:
- If candidate fails to register for counselling, they are not considered further
- Mere registration or fee payment does not guarantee admission

- Not eligible if any sibling already availed this concession
