Conducting Authority

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is responsible for conducting centralized counselling for:

15% All India Quota (AIQ) in Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges
Institutional Quota & Domicile Quota of Central Universities
ESIC - Ward of Insured Persons Quota (IP)
AFMC Pune - Registration-based shortlist
100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, Deemed Universities, BSc Nursing (through NEET)

Central Universities Covered

Counselling also includes special quotas and internal seats from:

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
University of Delhi (DU)
Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Delhi

For these, internal quota candidates must register via MCC portal

ESIC & AFMC Candidates

ESIC (Employees' State Insurance Corporation):

Wards of insured persons can apply under the 20% IP Quota
Registration is via MCC portal, document verification required

AFMC Pune (Armed Forces Medical College):

Registration on MCC portal is mandatory
Selection through AFMC's own process (ToELR, PAT, Interview, Medical Test)

Counselling Fees

During registration, students must pay:

Non-refundable counselling registration fees
Refundable tuition fees (adjusted later or refunded)

All payments are to be made online only at time of MCC registration.

Big update for specially-abled candidates!

Reservation under PwD/PH category has been increased from 3% to 5%
Covers 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per

NEET UG 2025 - Admission Procedure (Step-by-Step)

Phase 1: Registration & Examination (NTA)

Phase 2: Counselling & Admission (Central)

A. All India Quota (15%) and Deemed/Central Universities

Conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) via https://mcc.nic.in

1. Registration	Fresh registration required for each round (Round 1, 2, 3, Stray Vacancy).
2. Choice Filling	Fill college/course preferences online. Can be edited before locking.
3. Seat Allotment	Based on NEET rank, category, and preference.
4. Result & Reporting	Download allotment letter and report to allotted college within deadline.
5. Upgradation / Free Exit	Allowed in Round 1. Limited scope from Round 2 onward.
6. Mop-Up & Stray Round	Leftover seats filled. No further upgradation allowed.

NEET UG 2025 - Application Procedure (Step-by-Step)

NEET UG 2025 application can be completed only online via the official NTA NEET website:

PHASE 1: Online Registration

1. Visit Official Website	Go to https://neet.nta.nic.in and click on "Fill Registration Form".
2. New Registration	Click “New Candidate Registration” and read instructions carefully.

4. Create Password	Choose a secure password, set a security question for account recovery.
5. Get Application Number	After submission, your unique application number is generated — note this down.
